TERRASYSTEM develops and promotes new technologies for research, management and environmental and territorial monitoring, offering solutions at every level, which are integrated and customised for the customer.


Acquisition and processing of aerial data

TERRASYSTEM has the equipment, the tools and the know-how to perform aerial campaigns in an efficient and professional way for the acquisition of environmental data.
Acquired data:
- Aerial imagery with multispectral digital systems
- Aerial imagery in the mid-infrared and thermal spectrum
- True colour aerial images
- Altitude profiles by high-frequency laser altimetre.
- Data of fluxes of gases and atmospheric pollutants.


Development and integration of sensors and environmental data acquisition systems for aerial platform

TERRASYSTEM has contributed to the development of the remote sensing multispectral aerial systems DFR and ASPIS, in collaboration with CNR-Ibimet and University of Tuscia.
TERRASYSTEM offers consulting services for hardware and software solutions and technical support for the design, integration and improvement of systems.


Processing of remote sensing data

TERRASYSTEM carries out the processing of satellite and aerial data using the most modern and complete dedicated software.
TERRASYSTEM, in particular, has developed experience in the treatment of the multispectral aerial data, and of the Modis, Aster, Rapid-eye and Landsat satellite data for agricultural and forest monitoring.
Main processing:
- digital orthophotos
- digital terrain models (DEM and DSM)
- land use classifications, change detection maps, thematic maps
- temperature maps
- maps of vegetation and environmental indexes.

- maps of the water stress

Integrated services for environmental and agricultural monitoring and precision farming

TERRASYSTEM offers a full range of services to all organisations that deal with the management and monitoring of environmental and agricultural resources. These services integrate traditional survey approaches with high technology methodologies, based on aerial and satellite remote sensoring and GIS modelling.
Main fields of application:
- monitoring of infrastructures, waterways, quarries, landfills
- precision farming in the wine growing sector
- monitoring and forecasting of production and crop quality
- monitoring of plant diseases in agriculture and forestry
- forest fires cadastre
